Finally caught up with it on tv and loved it.
Superb racing and 3xactly like I thought it could be yam, kwacker, honda, ducati all right up there.
Jonny going to have to work really hard for his title this year.
Bautista did a great ride in 2nd race and Scott redding debut was very strong. I'm sure BMW will get sorted and then we just need suzuki back.
Those on new bikes were always going to struggle a little as very little dry testing got done. I followed redding on YouTube during the preseason tests and it felt like every session was wet so not ideal.
Anyway I'm sure honda learnt a lot from that opening round and the bike development can start in ernest now

Eurosport have an offer on their player where you can get a year's access for £19.99. Good offer for me as I am dumping Sky and means I can still watch WSBK (and BSB).

Offer ends sometime tomorrow though so if you want it you will have to move quick

Can you believe Marco Melandri has come out of retirement to race for Barni Ducati this season replacing Leon Camier?!

There must be some up coming riders in the Italian championship who they could have approached before Melandri! I bet they're all well pissed off:rolleyes:

Not that I dislike Melandri......quite the opposite, great guy and his Mrs ok too ;)

I saw this post and thought "I'm alright Jack" I get Eurosport with my BT package. But apparently NOT. I looked for it today after seeing an Instagram post from WSBK and Eurosport is no longer on my BT box. I have just renewed my BT broadband package, at no point was I told I'd be losing Eurosport. Bastards.

Well its starting to happen. Slowly but surely the big H new 2020 blade is starting to upset the applecart.
I said it was good start after round 1 and a few bumps later they are on the podium.
Given the crappy wet pre season testing they were on the back foot but that bike is showing amazing promise. Its already an easy match to the yamaha, as fast as the kawasaki and clawing up against the ducati.
Each of the other bikes have several seasons of development under their belts and the Honda hasn't. Honestly if things continue like this they could be easily be fighting for wins by season end and that puts next year into a really exciting proposition.
For a brand new bike faced with such a compromised pres season test programme they are doing exceptionally well.
    Let's just hope this continues

I didn't watch a single WSB race this year. I don't feel that I missed anything. A bit like not watching F1.

Didn't get to see the post race comments but disappointed that Lowes and Redding couldn't challenge.

Hopefully more of a race at the front today.

Glad to see that Shakey hasn't been cancelled by the left wing snowflake faggots who were trying to get Eurosport to sack him for a minor indescretion on a BSB podium many years ago.

Yamaha has dropped the R6 for road in 2021 too so they say, only making a full ace version strangely called the "R6 Race" :D so expect even more R6 cups from now on, still was good racing though :D

However "As an option, customers can indicate at their local dealer to deliver the R6 RACE model either with or without the mirrors, license plate holder, reflectors and blinkers. For further details and availability, please contact your local Yamaha dealer.".

What a start/race by Toprack. Really wish Redding would finish more often though
