The new one in that colour scheme looks nice - but I did think it was a BMW S1000RR at first glance - last week's MCN on the front cover.
I don’t think it’s got anything to do with being a Luddite, for me it’s just about wanting to be more involved than signing on a dotted line, paying a fixed monthly fee and lining up with all the others on a Sunday in the latest kit. It just feels anodyne and consumerist instead of interesting and involving. Bikes are supposed to be exciting and interesting. I don’t want to be like the Porsche crowd comparing stats and specs.
Spoken like a true old biker, heard load of those over the years, usual moaning about how new stuff is not as fun/too powerful for road/not British /not as engaging/ to much tech and so on, as their older bikes I love the new blade/bikes, but promise, if I get one, I won't mention anything about their specs and stats at any bike stop, will just ride it hard on track and road and have loads of fun doing it
