I'd guess on the blade it'll be about 4-500 roughly, just not been feeling it to go out on a day off after riding at work. On the works bike it'll be 8k and increasing til the 22nd.
Only about 800 unfortunately...just been a strange year or two...iomtt next year so I'll do a thousand miles enjoying that 10 days
IoMTT oh yeah My son and I are booked. We marshall every year. It will be his first time over on his own bike. He’ll be having a ball
I was over 2years ago but only for practice...can't wait to go next year...but I must sort this downshift out..it will.drive me mad
Depends on the day, we can go 1 mile and end up seizing a car for no insurance, waiting on recovery usually an hr, ride another 2 -3 miles and stop something else, another 10 minutes, not alot of miles in a day sometimes. Mutual aid to surrounding forces inc Met Pol, SEG stuff, Bikesafe to name a few. One of the best jobs in the world if you enjoy riding a bike My job bikes just clocked 23800 on a 67 plate. Shifts and time in workshops for service/repairs puts me on another bike too so it's not all the miles we do, plus we have 5/330s X5, off road CRF, all depends what we're in to do on any given week..
Cool. I would have loved to have done this kind of job. A question, does it not piss you guys off when watching a movie, only to see the bike cops get another bum rap from the script writers...? It seems they always have stupid accidents, never able to ride as fast as the villan/protagonist etc....
Yea that annoys me. I hate it when in tele if they need to portray a character as a bit iffy or on the wrong side of the social line then he'll be given a motorbike.
It does sometimes, hence the low miles I've done on the blade but it's an escape too, switch off n ride..
500 on the NC30 and less than a 100 on the Blade as it’s still up on stands in bits whilst trying to source carb O rings.
