After spending too much time shopping on my phone over Christmas and wanting something to look forward to this year Im doing an i2i knee down course in April and the California Superbike School level 1 course in June. This will be immediately followed by a round trip of wales using the recommended routes from Simom Weir. Its handy that you can download the routes from his book into Calimoto. I also hope to do some rides with this group too! Hurry up better weather....
Going from lands end up to and around wales, another trip to and around the outer Hebrides lots of bsb meets, thanks for the Simon weir tip
Same as last year ,,,,,, early morning rides then meet up with other bikers have a brew and talk shite Try to keep out of trouble
Trip to Scotland in May with a bit of island hopping (Uist, Lewis&Harris, Skye) plus as above lots of breakfast runs and trying to stay out of trouble. Toying with idea of a V4 Multistrada Pikes Peak as well later in the year (still keeping the Blade), not sure yet but chances of getting a test ride seems zero!!
More riding, maybe I can wear out the new tyres in a single year! Toying with the idea of the NC500 but that will be time, money and SWMBO dependent. Tour of the Picos postponed indefinitely.
I’ve got ferries and hotels booked and routes mapped out for a 14 day Spain tour in May and another for 21 days in September. I’m going everywhere: Pyrenees, Andalusia, Gibraltar, Portugal, Picos. All on free cancellation in case Covid trashes things yet again… Going on my Z1000SX though, as it’s got panniers and top box and is easier on my ageing joints!
Maybe a Euro trip later in the year and looking to make a return to Germany will probably be a solo trip as no man in my life at the moment as ever always looking to upgrade the bike to something newer but just can't bring myself to part with the blade.
You have been looking to upgrade for a while now Brad. Been looking at h2sx reviews. Hmmm good for touring, i may just need to get myself a test ride.
End of February trip to the UK to see my mum on the Isle of Wight. Overnight ferry to Portsmouth. Take the Suzuki GSX-S - can't wait for summer to give it a proper run. Want to have a go at the Run What Ya Brung at Santa Pod sometime this year - see what the Suzuki is like at 8,000 revs in 4th ! Maybe race against a mate who has an MT-10. We met up once before in the UK for a spin.....
Ride it more!!! Definitely a track day or two....... Meet up with the usual crew for a brew, spam fritter and like Mark says......talk shite!!!
