BMW nice but depends if you get the later one well known for front fork oil seals leaking and carbon wheels cracking or as a friend of mine did went bang at 1800miles .....is a comfy bike as for the one in pic 34k one currently all on a recall as heads not finished off currently on launch day at donnington 2 went pop.....the brand are very good at dealing with warrenty claims and on the whole look after customers...

Yeah, through doing my research thats something thats come across from lots of different sources. They have all said that BMW looked after them when there was a problem.

Interesting that everyone says they were looked after but no one seems to mind the amount of warranty work? And serious stuff like the head also.

when I questioned the salesmen about the failing switch gear, he just said…. It’s not a problem as we’ll bring a like for like bike when we pick yours up.

was enough for me to look at another brand as they knew of the problem and would fix if for free but I couldn’t handle the fact it would let me down with the same part over again.

I’d worry for the residual value once the dealers decide to stop doing the good faith out of warranty work.
