Booster time ! get your vaccines here ! Adam and the Ants played in this hall - I was there for that as well - didn't pay for that either !
Wishing you a speedy recovery. Had Covid a few weeks ago but mostly fine now apart from numbed taste buds and smell. Glad I’d had my 3 vaccinations though as I did feel rough for 3-4 days, then just very tired. Take it easy when you get back on two wheels as I found my head was fuzzy for a while too.
Can I have your blade if you take a turn for the worse? Then I can put a fat suit on every summer and pretend to be you so @PauloHRC won't cry so much and Garstang bogs can keep going
Well almost 2½ years after lockdown started, and after 3 jabs for both me and the missus, we both managed to get the bloody thing. Suspect the wife got it first, either from her work as a carer or during a hospital checkup last friday.
I think we are all destined to get it but hopefully the jabs will significantly reduce the effects. Hope you both get well soon
I'm not vaccinated nor is the wife, we both got it but it must have been the weak version or we are just hard Northerner's
I've had 2 jabs but not having anymore just after the 2nd jab was sick as a dog headache fever etc...not again.
I still have serious reservation about the two AZ vaccines I had initially. My take is it was not wildely approved and a gov propaganda tool coup. Went without flu vac last year and might do the same with covid one this year
It's interesting how the different vacs affect different people. I had all Pfizer jabs and nothing, no after effects at all. People I know who had the AZ all complained of one thing or another afterwards. Also interesting was the flu jab I had this week. Nurse said she didn't know why the Dr's were still only doing video calls as the nurses were seeing over 20 people per day at the surgery and they should "bloody well start to earn their money again...." I thought she'd had a hard day till I realised it was 10 past 9 am.
