They said they were still checking it over and it'd need a couple more hours so unable to do tonight and they will be in touch tomorrow. They will deliver free of charge, I've asked a manager calls me
I've heard that happen before with them too. I think they stick their stock on the website and shop floor then don't even bother looking at it until its sold. Have you had a good look at the bike yourself?
I looked over her quote alot on Saturday but to be honest apart from looking for leaks or damage I'm just looking to see if I think it's been cared for and most the engine is covered. I did hear it start for the first time today and it sounded smooth and andling well. Do the headlights shine one side on Dip beam and both on main beam? Just checking as my R6 both headlights illuminate at the same time, seems odd you'd only use side
You’ll get a lot of “One of your lights is out mate” but you’ll get used to it, or buy a double lamp adaptor from Jen’s
Mate, I don't want to be a doom merchant or anything but make sure you double and triple check this bike. The fairing around the nose cone isn't clipped together properly. Not sure how fussy you are but if there are plastic tabs snapped or damaged you might never get it sitting together right. Are they genuine fairings do you know or Chinese? Radiator and headers look like they've taken their fair share of road salt too.
Very possible, would also explain why the suspension has been breathed on, wire locking on the caliper and random gopro camera mount on the rear hugger.
Well spotted with the fairing under the light. In The picture I took Saturday the fairing under the headlight is fitted so guessing they've had it apart. What do you mean when you say the suspension has been breathed on? I had noticed the headers but had put it down to mild steel and 12 years, as the track wouldn't have been gritted?
Suspension has an MCT sticker so likely had a service by them as a minimum at some point, maybe even some upgrades. Anyway mate as you say its a 12 year old bike so it's going to have a history, good luck with it.
I'll check over her for the bits that have been pointed out and for anything else you guys might suggest A little history van hopefully be good lol. Hopefully she will do me proud
http://www.jn-elektronik.de/?page_id=4 I just emailed him, tell him what bike you have and he will give you a PayPal address and an amount. Its not completely plug and play though, you do have to run a cable from one side to the other. It's not hard though.
