Back in one piece this time. A couple of BSB guys making everyone look like they're going backwards though.
Love the vid, I take it you have history of parting with the bike at Caldwell.( back in 1 piece this time ).The BSB lads, have a bigger advantage over us, with bike set up, and BHP and ability, you didn’t look to be going backwards
I had an off at the Bus Stop chicane a couple of years ago, but I was really referring to running off into the gravel at Donington last month. It's also looking like there might be some action at Blyton Park this Bank holiday Monday too.
I’m travelling down on Monday for 2 days at Caldwell. It’s been over 3 years since I was last there. I’m sure I will be a lot slower now. I’ve watched your video 4 times now, to capture where you are on entry to turns. There’s a few, I will be taken, and trying out.
I wouldn't rely on my lines too much as I tend to out brake myself a lot and turn in too late. There are a few quick guys who pass me, you might want to watch them instead
If you want more though, then there is Session 4 where I'm trying to ride 1 gear lower after hearing the screamers pass by in the earlier sessions. or Session 6
It's a lot narrower than Cadwell. There's only 1 straight, so it's better suited to smaller bikes, especially as there are literally no run offs. If you come off, you end up in a farmers field.
Narrower than Cadwell Think I’ll give that a miss then. Not that I’m a run off kind of guy as you know
Well arrived back in 1 piece. I had problems with the quick shifter the first day, so went back to clutch and throttle blip. Also visor steaming up and continuously lifting the visor to clear the condensation. What a distraction, First day was learning the track again, I love hall bends and the hairpin. Second day got into the groove, I thought I recorded some footage on the camera, but nothing came up on the card. Got myself comfortable with 1.42 / 1.41 lap times. Thanks MR god like for the video.
