Hi, I got fed up of numb bum and have contacted some upholstery places to re do my standard seat with gel but while I'm sorting that I thought of a new cover. I looked at online options but they either weren't gel or quite expensive. A 1cm pad cover was the cheapest I found for £35. So I ordered a 4cm honey comb desk seat gel pad for £15, cut it to shape and stiched in velcro straps from the hoverboard which were £3. Feels good but tomorrow morning will be the real test . It is multi purpose for when I get to throttle happy and need the incontinence part . I have a company call nostalgia upholstery that have said they'll redo my seat with gel for £55 but waiting on a booking date . My skills have no bounds lol
@PauloHRC had a similar but slightly posher idea a few years back.... which involved the neighbours cat going missing
