    Hi

I was amazed today when I pulled up for fuel after doing 139.5 miles and filling up, that the fuel light hadn't come on.

I'm used to previous bikes I had running out at 115/120 lol.

How many miles generally should I expect from a tank on the 2010?

I know it can vary depending on riding etc but just roughly :)

Mines a 2016 so maybe not as comparable. Always run on super unleaded and whenever possible Esso as it’s been said that it doesn’t contain any Ethanol (though legally they have to say contains up to 5%). Mostly country roads and with a pillion and the light comes on after about 120/130 miles.

Expect 130 miles before fuel light comes on (09) just unbelievable how much it costs to fill the tank now, that Sunday morning is getting more expensive every weekend !

130 ish before the light here too unless caught in traffic which you can't get round. Then I expect 115/20

After an MT10 emptying at 90 miles anything over 110 feels like driving-miss-daisy territory. I get twitchy at 100 miles and would probably crash if I saw the fuel light come on - if it even has one :D

I am embarrassed to say my 2009 does 52~55mpg (winter to summer), road use only & no pillion so 150miles before the light comes on.

Since E10, I have switched to super which is between E0 and E5 depending on the supplier. E10 would drop my mpg by 5~10%.

As our roads become more invaded with potholes and abscent minded/ distracted drivers, my mpg has improved ever so slightly:rolleyes:

    It's only doing a 135 because of the weight it's lugging around :p x

For a long time I’ve been 112-119 ish.. I live on the Isle of Wight, my trip includes the military road if anyone has seen it.. it’s insane. I’ve just had the bike custom mapped so I’ll be able to compare fuel consumption. On E5 too.

mine does 120 miles before the fuel light comes on, and i have it so that when i refuel, it automatically resets the trip computer because I was always running out at the worst places
