Hi, Has anyone fitted a hid kit on an 08 onwards bike yet!! If so what type of kit did/have you fitted and where did you get them from
The US crew over at Honda CBR 1000RR Motorcycle Forums: 1000RR.net have quite a lot of info on HID kits - I read up about it - you can fit the kits but it requires modding of the headlight back casing ETC and the placement of the ballasts is aparently a real P.I.T.A
Do the blades need uprated lights. I find the blade much better than the speed triple I had. Would not up rating the bulbs make a difference?

Not to worried about the halo style lights, but in saying that they do look quite nice!! The main reason i want it was to be seen (not as in hay look at me, but more as in oh is that a bike coming) I had (and still have it) a HID kit on my GSXR 1000 k6 before i got the blade but before i go ahead and fit it, i just wanted to see if anyone had already fitted one and if so what type
