Hi guys. Due to rail strikes I might have to ride to London. Question is.
Can I ride through London on my 2009 without paying or registering for anything?
    Thanks broadie

Dead easy to check for yourself on TFL website, but answer is no to the ULEZ zone.

I checked for you by typing in my blade’s registration

But potentially “Yes” to congestion zone charge, depending on where and when you go

Motorcycles were exempt from the congestion charge for inner London, if it doesn't say congestion charge on the checker you should be fine.
ULEZ is fine unless you have a bike older than euro3

Trouble is all the southeners are traveling north to escape this, and bringing the crap with them up north, I blame these nature programs showing rolling landscape and lovely views, we should show old chemical works and burned out cars, that might stop them coming up to gods country ;)

I used to think Basingstoke was north when growing up! Us southerners don't just live in London. The biking round Dorset down to Cornwall is superb, plus the Isle of Wight, then try East Anglia and round the coast through Essex. Glorious.
And you get the benefit of understanding what people are saying. :p.
Had to drive through Yorkshire last year and agree it was beautiful. What got me most was, at one point, the GPS on the dash said I was 800 metres above sea level. When I go home it was 3. Just don't leave the taps running .

2008 onwards are exempt from Ulez and Congestion charge, depending on where you are going watch out for changes of speed limits, just started commuting south of the river and seems to be 20 mph everywhere! Also bus lanes are sometimes MC lanes too but not all the time so watch out for that too!
