    Hi guys,
My front tyre nearly.needs changing, power gp. I'm looking at swapping these for something that will be better for upcoming autumn and winter weather.
Wanting a tyre that I can fit and just all year from here on in.
The GPs are mega just dont think they are going to be great in cold and wet.
Any of use guys got experience with road 6 or power 5s and also at the minute the continental road attack 4 have caught my eye.

    Cheers

What about T32's? Apparently a really good all-weather touring tyre.

Michelin Pilot Road 3 and 4 are good. You've only got to look at the tread and you can see they're designed to cope with the wet.

Didn't know if they have a sporty profile, I'd still like something that turns fairly quickly.

Road 5's are amazing in all weather, I've tried them on a 500. And the Road 6 should be even better.

If you want an all season tyre, thats the best pick in my opinion. Very highly rated.

I’ve had several pairs of Road 5s on mine for a few years and they are great in all weather conditions, including warm and sunny. Last for ages too. Before that I tried BT023s then BT030evos but their profile shape was too flat so they really dulled the steering (gripped OK, just didn’t feel remotely sporty - the Road5s steer so much nicer, much more agile).

pilot power 3 are good all year. It is really a sport touring tyre (by my standards), good wear but less sporty than say pilot power 2CT

I took delivery of a new 17 blade last Saturday and it had Pilot 4's on and they seem pretty good grip wise.

Rainy weather has arrived, time to change out the mostly squared off tyres and get something decent Give these Michelin Road 6 tyres a go.

They look a bit weird, but Michelin must be on to something as they have stuck with this design, even a bit more so than the previous version.

    Looking forward to it ;)

New tyres - ooohh la-la - as they say in France :D

Any sort of sport touring tyre will have the flat profile mate, I had road 5’s on mine but with the 55 profile that sharpens the handling, job done

Very good point Raphael about 55 profile helping offset flatter shape of sport touring tyres. I might try that on my next set (will be a long time until then as just put a new set on the bike with 50 rear tyre…)

on the last 2 blades I’ve had mate I’ve had road 5’s and both with the 55 profile, made the bike a lot more fun for me mate and no problems with the mileage as did lands end to John o groats without any issues at all.total mileage combined with the same brand and profile was 70k
