We let's hope it does not end up like BTCC with bunch of drivers crashing into each other to push others off the track
Saying that, at Donny yesterday there were quite a few offs in the advanced group in the first couple of sessions. These guys had track bikes with tyre warmers and wet tyres, and still crashed. The track was greasy though in the morning.
Sadly Chrissy Rouse has died following his crash at Donnington on the weekend https://www.britishsuperbike.com/news/2022/oct/6/msvr-statement-chrissy-rouse
Oh dear. That’s really sad. I didn’t expect that. Another reminder, in the worst possible way, of how dangerous bike racing can be. God bless.
Just watching the race from this weekend and o’halloran is involved again This time was it him? He will never give his other riders a space and I think gets everything he deserves Love shaky’s comment Let’s put the indicators on and mirrors if we get much more
I used to like O'Halloran but am now of the opinion thay he seems to expect other riders to give him his line and not to try anything. The one yesterday was a pure racing incident and the penalty for Irwin was harsh. Will be interesting to see what happens when we see whose bum ends up on which bike next year.
From what I saw, Irwin's ambition outweighed his talent. He was the one who was never going to make that corner, and was not even far ehough ahead to make a block pass.
Brookes confirmed at FHO, will be interesting to see if he can beat his team mate, let alone win races. Bridewell confirmed at PBM. Have to admit he is a rider I loke to see do well, but not sure if that Team is the right one for him. Hope I am wrong though, need a decent carrot crunching accent on the podium more frequently to drown out all the Northern Monkeys
That will be down to wages ...be interesting to see if he still does the TT......and North west etc... Should go well been on it before plus his mental health in a different place now....
No TT for him now, he's more interested in staying alive and being a father! Fair play to him. Still a dangerous sport but less risk in bsb!
agree , mind you riding on the roads or even track days seams more and more of a risk...BSB was seeing more crashes but my view is some of the tracks the bikes have out grown them ....new R Ducati as always looks trick , ..but with no electronics you need massive talent even Tom struggled but Glen will push it ..
