    Hi
Anyone here use one of these helmets?
Just wondering how it works on a sports bike. Vision in a tucked position is my main concern.
I need a new helmet and it would be nice to have something that works on all my bikes and is quiet.
    Thanks
    Tony

I have a C4 pro, so not an exact comparison.

I can commute longish distances so having SatNav and Music is great!
Lifting the chin guard gives great FOV and awesome cooling especially during the summer
Much quieter than Arai(when in upright position)

The strap is not that comfy especially when wearing layers, not too keen on the racket system but can be operated with gloves
Overall fit was not as plush as Arais but still good
FOV restricted in tuck due to low brow
Noise creeps in at tuck and produces a high pitch

In summary you will still need ear plugs on most rides due to riding position. I wear ear plugs all the time and have music/sat nav on but can also hear road noise clearly.

For fast road and fun riding on an RR you will find forward vision restricted but generally side peripheral will be better. I find the lifesaver check is less extreme

The convenience of not having to remove the helmet all the time is great ie shopping/filling for petrol and when speaking to people

IMO if your head fits like a glove in Arai or Shoei this will be a step down in comfort.
Generally I use C4 pro for commuting and Arai for fun.

Wow, thanks so much for the detailed reply, l appreciate it.
I’m torn between this and an Arai, although I’ve had a few Shoei in the past which fitted well.
I’m drawn by the promise of a quiet lid, albeit I always wear ear plugs. The integrated sun visor is a big draw too as I hate wearing glasses of any kind when riding.
With my sensible head on I don’t want to sacrifice year round comfort and convenience for the sake of a couple of track days each year.
    First world problems ehh?

Same, but I don't really ride for fun anymore and trackdays are a thing of the past. My gear over the years has changed from race leather, boots etc to 'full on' commuting gear. TBH I don't miss it anymore!

I’m wondering if I’m almost in the same place.
For normal, occasionally spirited, road riding do you think the FOV is okay for a blade? I know it’s going to be great on my tourer and naked bikes.

For spirited rides semi tucked you will need to crank your neck little to get a fuller view with a Schuberth.
I guess it will start to strain your neck on longer rides.

On nakeds/uprights the helmet will be awesome.

Best compare them Arai/Schuberth in shop it will be Comfort/Forward FOV vs convenience/sound proofing/integrated bluetooth
