carefully check the finish: paint, welding smoothness of the casing and also the quality of fittings.
Look for homologation stamps and manugacturer's part reference
If you can, register the item with the manufacturer for warranty
If you have bought it from a reputable seller you should be able to check with them

You will most probable have no cable driven exhaust valve with the new silencer but fitting for the O2 sensor if your bike has one.
IF you have O2 but no fitting on the silencer, then you might use an O2 eliminator or go the expensive rouute of power commander + dyno tuning depending how deep your pocket is:)
They normally claim there is no need for any engine tuning; you need to check this on the manufacturer's website.

100% aliexpress / china fake just look at that sticker that peels off at the edges and the springs without rubber and the color of the springs and what you get with it, it is not stainless steel and not titanium, it shines too much for that and really not for that price

Hi and welcome! First of all, I'm not sure Austin ever made an exhaust for a 2002 fireblade. You are talking about a 954 aren't you because that's a 2002.

Secondly, its definitely looks fake!! The packaging would be much better quality if it is the original box and the welds don't look right but without looking at the exhaust out of the box its hard to be sure.

Most 2002 exhausts for a 954 were bolt on rather than slip on. You'd need a connector pipe or possibly a full system to get that to fit.

I had a 2001 929... never found anything in terms of aftermarket exhaust... so you may struggle.
Certainly if you want "stubby and loud" then it'll be a lot less restrictive than OE and would therefore need mapping I suspect... arguably these early FI blades need mapping anyway!

My point being, it won't come cheap!
