About 3 inches here, snowing lightly but it's settling. If it keeps on at this rate all night it will be about 9 inches deep by morning. It's a bugger when my only form of transport is a bike and my winter bike is dead.

We have about an inch left now. Roads look clear though, just need to sweep infront of me garage and put a bit of grit down then I'm got to go.

Drove back from Huntingdon station yesterday evening in light snow on gritted roads, turned right off the A141 through the imaginary wardrobe in to the world of Narnia with un melted snow and un gritted lanes.

We had about 6 inches of fresh snow over night, minus 7 degrees this morning and freezing fog. Nice one! I thought as I slicked back to bed. “O no you don’t” she said “ I HAVE to be in London today and we HAVE to attend the black tie dinner in the Midlands tonight .There is no plan B, get your arse in the shower, your taking me to the station”.

Just sending her a text saying I have traded in her SLK for a Unimog. LoL

we had some at around 0145hrs, but by the time i got up this morning at 0600hrs, the snow had melted on the grass and the road and there was just a very light dusting on the car. It was however a wee bit chilly this morning!! hopefully we'll miss it completely, not that i mind the snow, i just hate the flippin chaos that comes with it!!

    xx

I've just looked at the Maori Weather Stick I've got hanging outside and it's bone dry.
