Hi All, what are peoples preferences on Brake Level Guards? I had the J&S Accessories one on my GSXR750 previously but not sure it'll fit a 2008 Blade. What size (diameter) is the 2008 bar? 18mm or 22mm? Any recommendations?
Yeah there’s an issue if you can’t get the insert out of the bar, someone else’s suggestion on here was put a wood screw in between the insert and the bar to stop it rotating then use the lever guard without the expanding bit, just use the bolt and a spacer. If I have time later I’ll try to dig up that thread.
i just use a super cheapie off ebay. I take the nylon end cap off my R&G bar end and use the same bolt with a washer and bolt it on. Obviously in the event of any serious contact it'll move but in that case it'll be the least of my worries. Passes scrutineering anyway
Got one from AliExpress for £16 including delivery and it arrived within 2 weeks. Its a bit loose and stays in place. May be able to tighten it further with a washer.
