I went for Power GPs in the end, bottled the cup 2's. Going to Scotland later in the year, just couldn't risk being caught out in the rain with them. I'm staying on Anglesey all week next week so will be there handy for when the gates open. See you there.
We're on a family holiday so I'll be riding down Monday afternoon following the wife and kids in the car.
The circuit is open the night before but I usually travel the morning of the event, gates open at 6.30.
Van packed ready for tomorrow Charlie lad. Will you be needing a garage? I'll message you my number, if you WhatsApp me I'll text you my garage number when I arrive there.
Some of the images from my 2 days on track at the Anglesey Circuit, weather was bob on for the 2 days with top instruction from Karl Ryde and Adam Jenkins, learnt loads, but will I remember it all for the July JW day. Also great to meet up with another forum member, I think @CharlieR85 enjoyed himself.
Got those pics quick haven't you? Kyle* Ryde Yea had a good day, my mate not so much, newish BMW S1000RR set down at the hairpin. Crash protection has saved it pretty well, leathers and helmet probably going to be expensive though.
Check out that knee down action. Normally photos take around a week before they're on Dobbos website.
What was day 2 like? Weather was lovely, we were on the beach getting burnt all day. Were there many red flags? I think the JW day has probably ruined the normal trackdays for me a bit, not sure I can face being back on track with 40-50 riders again. The small numbers made the day for me. Just wish JW did days at Oulton, can't be booking a family holiday everytime I want to do a trackday
Day 2 went well until I caused a red flag just before dinner time, low side at rocket out, however the crash protection did there jobs, thank you R&G and GB Racing.
Carried on, shit happens. replaced crash bobbin and back out after dinner but by the fifth session the rear tyre was shot, so call it a day then. What I would say, is if your doing the two days the next time, the track walk in the evening with Adam Jenkins was very good, the amount of information you pick up just walking it is unreal.
