How long do RST gloves last ?

I have a cheap pair of rst pilot £49.99

Had at least a year but probably 20 shortish rides

Both little fingers have opened at the tops

    Is this usual

I think Rst gear has a two year warranty
    Worth a try

Had a pair of RST track tech evo R gloves that split badly on the fingers on last summer’s Spain trip after 2 years usage. Bought another pair as I find them to be very comfortable and great value. Just need to keep on top of checking them every ride.

I have a 10+ year old set of Dainese gloves, and they are still going string. Downgraded now to go-karting usage only, but still good.

I have a set of A-Stars gloves, now 2 years old and still look like new.

I do like RST stuff. I guess it depends which of their range you buy from.

I’ve had a pair of RST Racetech Evo for 4 years (bought off shpock secondhand but had seen little use from what I could tell) and they are still spot on - however I only ride of a weekend and never in the wet

Alpinestars gp pro 11years and over 25,000 miles, still in good nick.
Only replaced for gp pro r3 this year to match new leathers. Not cheap at £180 but worth it to get over 10 years plus out of a pair of gloves

Same as Mark, I've had mine about 9ys probably about 50k usage and still going strong. Really comfy gloves when they bed in and really good protection. Also got a pair of full leather rst gloves about 10yr old that were a lot cheaper and still wearing them although I've had to sew a finger up and superglue the velcro :D

Neats hoof oil can massively extend the life of leather gloves. I've some 15 yo apinestar gp+ that I now use on the dirtbike.

Horsey people know their schizzle as they have been looking after leather longer than bikes have been around.

I must admit I don't do any maintenance on them given only light use.

Dug the instruction out they came with and they say if cared for should give at least 3 years good use.

Better keep them fingers lubed on my next pair !
