    Welcome BigTed
Nice ad 918cc 1989 investment. I've got to have this extremely rare piece of history.
Would you consider a swap for a 7 year old unicorn, fly's like a dream?

Absolute twaddle. We all know that Unicorns don't learn how to fly until they pass the age of eleventeennine.

PS anyone want to buy some magic beans? Guaranteed to not take you to a Giant's castle.

Maybe it’s just an honest typing error?

Easy to type 1989 when you mean 1998.

    That could explain things

The irony of all this is that the forum has little chance of generating a sale!! Firstly ........people don't come on here looking to buy a bike as everyone on here already has one!!

Secondly .........the sale success rate on here is very low and most will end up being sold through ebay or bike trader!!

So basically you're just wasting your time........at least get the year and model correct!!o_O

I will slightly refute that. I joined here recently because I'm looking to purchase a fireblade to add to the vfr I already own. I find forums the best place to find genuine enthusiasts, and the bikes advertised on forums tend to be of a better quality... this one notwithstanding :)

    Hi both,

Thanks for the welcome. Originally I was sure I wanted a 2006-2007 but I've no idea anymore :)
I test rode a 954 a few weeks back and thought it was beautiful but then I've seen a couple of 2008-9's recently and they've seriously grown on me to the point they could be favourite.
I've got a fifth gen VFR for general riding (which I love the lardy thing she is) and I've always had a real soft spot for late nineties-noughties Honda's (also had an ep3 and an Integra) so don't feel I can go wrong really with any choice.

Sorry that doesn't answer the question at all:D I'm reading as much as I can on the forum to help persuade me. Any recommendations??
