Hi guys got an DT4 fitted to my blade, been sitting over the winter had a trickle charge on it and it still f***** the battery, I removed the battery and it sat without a battery for a week and now that I have replaced it, the DT4 wont play at all, I have been told its due to the alarms own battery being low though will recharge and will be ready to go in a day or so.... Anyone know if this is fact or if their is something else that can be done..... Hate alarms tempted to remove it though handy if some C*** is in about her.:mad:

I have the Datatool S3 and its a royal pain in the ass, auto arms every 30 seconds and beeps if you so much as look at it. Personally as I need it for my insurance I would like to keep it fitted but bypass it permantly which I know is a bit naughty but my prefered option. Anybody know if itis possible ?

My advice to people is spend your money on a biketrac, less agro and a chance you will get it back. Monitored by a call centre, texts you and emails when bikes moved or batt disconnected, costs much the same as a good alarm. 299.00 and 99.00 each year.

Had similar issue with an Datatool S3 on my old 600, I connected the trickle charger but hadn't switched it on . The bike battery had gone flat and the alarm switched on to the back-up battery untill that drained down and the alarm started to go off.

Switched the charger ON  and left it on charge, it recharged the alarm back-up battery and the bike battery, it took a while but it did sort it's self out in the end and never had and issues since.
