Hi Everyone. I'm sure there's some on here that will recognise the name, I've used it for decades on many bike forums. Bought a second hand 2022 SP 30th Anniversary add #15. Wasn't planning getting one till next year but it came up with 800 miles, full system and crash protection fitted. I don't ride supersport bikes on the road so it will be the new track weapon. Currently have a gen4 S1000rr track bike that has 214 atw. I'll be selling this in standard trim in the New Year. I've only done a couple of hundred road miles on the blade as I had to insure it anyway. The fairings have been fitted and now ready, though I still want to change a few parts. I can't wait for it's first track outing in February.
Welcome to the forum and you won't be disappointed with the performance on track of the 2022 Blade. I've done quite a few on mine now, but be aware of noise at Donnington with the standard exhaust on, got black flagged of blowing 107 dBs with their track side monitoring, no problems with noise at Anglesey, Oulton Park, Cadwell or Snetterton.
Cheers. At Oulton we were told if you're here on a Blade with standard can you will fail noise. I have been concerned about it as it has a full de catted system on. I do have a baffle. I spoke to someone this week at a track event and he said he's never had a problem including when racing so I'm hopeful.
There was 3 of us, all on 2020+ Fireblades and we all got black flagged. Found out the sound thingy was on the Start/Finish straight, so just short shifted past it and kept it well away from the 14500 rpm redline, however, bike sound mint with the standard exhaust on.
