Well today I was working on my bike and noticed it didn't have a tax disc or tax disc holder, come to think of it I dont remember seeing one since I bought it (errr back in july) I checked the left front wheel and nothing.

Where does everyone keep theirs, do you just leave it on the front wheel or are there better places where it is legal but less visible.

Who knows you might help me find it :)

After having two nicked by the thieving scrotes around here (one of which was a colour photocopy with 'DISC WITH RIDER' emblazoned across it), I now keep mine in the 'boot'. Never had any problem with not displaying one for the last couple of years, although I've just jinxed myself with that now...

But on my RR8, the OEM disc holder was on the top of the swingarm.

    Nah, it'll turn up.

I know it's taxed, the police know it's taxed, that's good enough for me. Besides, if I buy another ill only put it in a drawer again and lose it like this one :)

I bought two bikes last year. Both times the deal attached the tax disc holder using a front mud guard bolt near the caliper. Both times it was lost within a week. The second time I even made sure it was extra tight as soon as I got home. It's expensive in bolts and replacement fees so it lives in doors with the V5 etc now.
