Hey, Ive only done about 1200 miles on my RR, ive got 2 nasty stone chips on front which has pissed me off. The first one were there on the second day of having her. Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem?

Must the the shitty road chippin roads round my area. Anyone got any solutions as i fear that after this summer theres going to be alot more.

    Thanks

could try that, i bought a kit when i bought my RR6 but only got as far as fitting the tank panels as they were starting to scuff.

aint cheap though, and might be a bit late now.

touch it up and forget about it?

Bought Venture Shield from just that company, great to deal with and worth paying the money to protect the body work from stone chips. I will be contacting them again next week to buy some for my new blade

Looks like the stuff i need, thank you. How hard is it to fit? I owned 2 r6's within 3 years and never had stone chipping problems. I may go as far as buying a new nose piece :(

piss easy to fit. best thing to do is read the instructions and take your time. I was send the stuff, card and water mixed with washing up liquid which u use to out it on with, the main thing is keeping it wet. Owwwerrr

I've applied plenty of vinyls and such like. the bigger the harder to apply. main reason why they are often applied by professionals.

Venture Shield on mine from new even on the front mudgaurd! Comes with the kit! If you are worried about fitting, then get a dealer to do it, probably about an hour or so for them! Even covers the H/Light lenses! An to put it simply, This stuff is Awesome! When you sell on, you know underneath, you have untouched brand new paint! :)
