Yeah my old phone did NOT like that RC8...lol did you know Akrapovic said the RC8R has the best performance of all out of jap and italian bikes, also KTM's V4 motogp motor is the most powerful engine they have ever had on dyno..!

    couldnt agree more Damo.
I have owned 4 big V twins and love em.
    Completely different to IL4s.
I had to adjust to riding the Busa after the SV1000.
I would love a V as well as the blade

    Ah, now there's a problem :)

Godfather on the Ktm forum now is trying to get his Akra down to a sensible level for Malory......98db day.... Good luck with that :)

He noise tested it today at 5k and it read something like 113db without baffle & 109db with baffle in :)

They're all currently coming up with ideas of how to sort that.

What I'm going to do is get the stock map put back on my ecu by redline with the stock exhaust fitted, then have it pcv'd & dyno'd to run a map for stock and then fit the Akra back on at the tuning place and have a map done for that.

It's the only way really, can't have an RC8 without a loud pipe but you can't track it on most days using that pipe so will need a work around

I had a rc8 year past though had to sell due to F*** face, I loved her and I think looks wise you either love it or hate it, but for me I thought it looked the dogs balls, she was in white, honestly one amazing piece of kit, I bought her for 8 G she was reg 10plate though was a 08 spec bike, I sold her a year later for 7800. Was well worth the £200 odd................................
