Having just fitted a PCV and O2 Eliminator, and while waiting on funds for an exhaust, I decided to take the Lambda Prode out and save having any trailing wires hanging, i thought it would be fine and easy to get a bung or blank for the hole ....

After a quick bit off googling (and i do mean quick) i haven't come up with anything, can anybody tell me where to find one or what the thread size and pitch is ...

    Thank you

I've got the lambda probe out, I'll borrow my mates thread pitch gauges and verynears the morn and then find a suitable bolt

Unless i can find a scrap probe!

Well with a bit of rough measurements using a highly in accurate ruler, its an M12 and looking about online it should be a 1.5 pitch

eBay have them, I just got two for the Akra on the RC.

    Mine are M18 x 1.5

Search lambda plug or lambda blanking and you'll see a few come up for less than a fiver delivered mate

The standard Lambda is NOT M18, it only needs a 17mm spanner to get it off

The Akra will have holes for wideband sensors?!

    And even with a ruler i wouldn't miss 6mm

Yes narrow band and wide band are not the same, you can get adaptors for wide to narrow, norm with some systems..

To be honest I know nothing, I just read stuff and buy accordingly :)

Mine are M18 on the RC8's Akra, I only bought them in prep for whacking a pcv on it so I can get rid of the cables after putting the O2 eliminators on

Deffo M12 and I think 1.5 pitch. Search on eBay for Lambda probe plug or similar. I have bought bosses , but not plugs. Or just buy a M12 x 1.5 Allen bolt ???

Ok the M12x1.5 didn't fit so checked the original probe with thread gauges and its M12x1.25 ... Bugger!

Are you sure Fletch. Try a standard 1.25 pitch bolt off the bike? Never heard of an M12 x 1.25 Lambda sensor thread , unless it's just a bleedin Honda quirk!
