I take a little longer to do mine. Im doing them on Road wheels so take a little more care.

The reason why I do my own is its a pain in the ass getting the wheels off the bike and getting them 10 miles up the road to get new tyres fitted, Its my only form of transport and before I allways had to rely on a lift to anf from the tyre place. Now I can do them when I want. Also do loads of miles a year so changing a rear tyre every 2-3 months and a front every 4-6.

How on earth did you come up with the idea of using a lawn edger to break the bead. Good video you make it look really easy!

I actually came back from Spain on Sunday where my lawn edger was lost in transit! I changed 5 rims in 4 days and they wantd to charge 18 euros per rim. Sod that. I used my paddock stand handle to break the beads in the same way as i use the lawn edger. People were laughing, but then i was the one with 90 euro's in my back pocket for a little bit of effort!

I change my tyres with those. Never had a problem with them, it just takes you around 1.5hours to do them. My mate bought them last year, and being an mechanic it helps when he can give a few tips when fitting them.
1 of the best things to do to help with fitting is to warm the new tyres up next to a heater so that they are more pliable when fitting.
