I got my gramps old wood lathe in the garage . My great grandfather was a joiner , then my grandfather , then my dad all joiners by trade . DaD used to make amazing staircases and loads of stuff On the lathe . Need to get a few lessons from him really as its good fun and you can sell your work if it's good
Blue, make these for you today, let me know what you think. The light fountain pen is made from Bethlehem Olivewood; it has a great grain to it. The dark one is made from African Blackwood, it also has a great dark grain, you can't see it in the photos. Both pens are 24K gold plated Both pens look better in the flesh, unfortunately my photography isn't as good as my woodturning
