Well woke to damp roads, jumped in mates van and all roads on way to dealers where wet, rode back the 30 miles had one moment hit a bit of dual carriage way little damp so i was steady up into 3rd then gave it a bit and the poxy rear spun up, really not sure about these dunlops Got home 1st job was to remove baffle from akrapovic, then had to meet 4 mates for a ride, 100 miles later and two heavy rain showers and the white wheels now dont look white lol lol Bike is awesome just the rider lets it down lol bike is so quick or it might just be me cause coming from a triumph street triple R the blade is rapid as f-ck. The can for me is just right with the baffle out. Roll on the summer or dry roads.
Looks lovey mate, which Dunlops does she have on? If it's Sportsmarts they are amazing. heard Roadsmarts are good and GP211d are epic for track?
there the tyres that have been on from new, the bike has 1900 miles on it, will wait and see what i think when its a bit warmer and dry
They are pants yeah... But 30 miles in the wet, on a 175bhp bike with unscrubbed tyres the rear will spin up mate... Lol
Just read this... So they are scrubbed then, that'll be just crap tyres then ha ha Oh ps - lovely bike fella!!
had them on my Speed triple and put me off Dunlops for years until I gave up to the hype of the Sportsmsarts and glad I did. Qualis suck
i am a bridgestone man normally but dont like taking tyres off when they have plenty of miles left in them, rear has about 1000 miles left in it then i will change for something else
How much life left in them pal? I'd seriously consider sacrificing them for the td if you can?? I got some part worn racetechs for 90 quid, could be an option? You might be fine pal, but I wouldn't be comfortable pushing them...
I can understand, I was a Bridgestone man for years then tried the Sportsmarts. The only thing thats going to get me to chance is more trackdays. then wither D211GP or Supercorsa's
Lovely looking bike. I have the qualifier 2's on mine just now and haven't had a problem with them, though I only ride in the dry. Ps get youself a Leovince carbon infill panel to hide the pipes of the exhaust mate, it'll tidy it up no end
I hated the qualifier 2's took them off at 800 miles when the rear was shot anyway, it was the front for me scared the crap our of me a few times no feedback whatsoever now have interact k3's and it's transformed the bike. Also looks awesome mate you got to love the Akro baffle out it's superb Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
