Changed my chain and sprockets yesterday on my RR5 so had to remove the slave clutch cylinder and pushrod.

Upon re assembly I have no clutch. The lever pulls back to the bar with little or no effort.

Yes i did re fit the push rod.

Would it just need a bleed? I have removed the slave cylinder again and the piston inside moves when you press the lever but upon re-assembly still no bite.

    What do you think?

i have bled the clutch. Still no feel.

removed the slave cylinder again and all the fluid in the slave cylinder sucked into the system (the cap was off at the time on the M/C) re fitted the slave and re bled and still no bloody clutch!!

Doing my head in now. I need the bike for work tomorrow.

I've checked the Haynes, and it seems straight forward, maybe you did get some air in the system. Try bleeding it. Just remember it's the opposite way for when bleeding brakes, in other words, pump the clutch lever 3/4 times, then hold the lever in while opening the bleed valve. When the valve is open clutch fluid will flow out of the release cylinder into the clear tube that you have going to the container to catch the old brake fluid and the lever will move towards the handle bar. If there is air in the system there will be air bubbles in the clutch fluid coming out of the release cylinder, then tighten the bleed nipple, then release the clutch lever and repeat.

    Hope it helps mate.

Just been for a test ride. Most definatly sorted.

That new chain and sprocket feel is a hard one to beat. Bike feels really super smooth and all brand new again :)
