Thanks for reminding me Benn, its the key for the disc lock and only on the ring for winter and will be removed and under the rear seat cowl before I ride out.

I stripped mine back quite a way yesterday to start fitting a few goodies that i've got lying around.
Took out all the airbox so I could fit my pair system blanking plates that I ordered form the states, plus the A-tech air intake that I bought from Dave-uk.
That's as far as I got yesterday due to starting late, but today I need to finish fitting the A-tech, then refit the air box but using my new pipercross filters I bought some time ago in the group buy.
Plus I've got a set of silicone hoses to fit then there's the Hel braided hoses, oil and filter change, new brembo pads to fit, new body work to change oh and then I'll just be waiting on my Dymags to be delivered!
My next few weekends could be taken up between that little lot and spending time with the family!

Hello Benn, Got her on Friday, Paid 6 and a half, got just short of 5 for my gsxr 750. The Blade has only done 1300 miles. It's my second Blade, wrote the other one off 3 years ago. :(

Today I fitted the ASV clamp that Si sent me as a prize. Thanks mate it looks great with the levers. Also had a fiddle with the Rizoma rearsets and got them into a position that feels about right, just need to test it proper on the road now.

Started her up for the first time in weeks, jeez it sounds good with the Akrapovic with the baffle out :)

Also tried to find somewhere to fit the tax disc holder that didn't piss me off as I can't stand the sight of the rags, but still couldn't bear putting it on the bike. Does anyone have anywhere that these things sit without it sticking out like a sore thumb?

Got a few little scratches on the swing arm ( right hand side ) got a small rub mark on top of the tank and it looks like its been out in the rain a bit. I'll get her right though, But still not in bad nick really.

I'll get some pics done at the weekend. I'll maybe do a build type thread as I've added a few things on lately and have yet to show them all together. Also looking forward to getting out on the bike for the first time since the end of october.

Hiya Colin, quick question mate, I note in your bike profile that you have an Akra can and Flapper mod. Is that the exhaust flapper? I didn’t think that had to be done when a Akra is fitted. Please take into account that I have no real idea what the hell I am talking about but have an Akra slip on can on mine. Thank you in advance.

Yup spot on Benn. Not too sure if you need to do this to the 08 onwards blade, but seeing as I had the bike stripped down I thought why not while I was at it.

I put mine on the back of the no plate, hidden well enough that it does not stand out but can be found if you look for it.

Thanks that sounds like a plan. Just wonder what the plod would say about it, though I suppose it is still on display.

I would not worry about plod. Most of the time they will check your taxed and insured from checking the database with your reg no. I now some people who keep it in there wallet when they go out on bike. Main thing is you have paid it.
