Right have my 1st years service tomorrow. Having a K&N filter added, Bazzaz Z-Fi TC

And Dyno time. I am looking forward to seeing what the blade is kicking out with the added Yoshi can on now, and what difference it will make once it's all set up and running 100%

    So taking bets:

    Power before Dyno?

    Power after Dyno?

I'm not in the search of power but just want to get it set up right. But will be interesting to know what difference the dyno time will make
ANd have no idea what a blade kicks out at the rear wheel. Hears people say from 150BHP or there abouts

I thinks standard they sit around the 166-168 mark at the rear wheel.

Yup. The torque increase when set up properly and the smoothness is even better matey. Cracking engines the 1000rr.

Had my 08 blade dynoed at Junction 33 near Garstang by Andy. It was putting out 154bhp at rear wheel, after fitting a pc111, K+N air filter and with standard exhaust it showed 160bhp. Imo bhp is irrelevant, just something to brag about down the pub. A smooth power delivery and well set up suspension will win out every time unless you use it at the track. I also own an 05 blade that was restricted to 98bhp ( being an import ) when this was de-restricted to 145bhp I actually rode slower on the roads as I couldn't lay the power down.
