Hi Gents i have just fitted leo vince gp pro that i bought on Ebay last week. The exhaust is in good nick but is blowing a bit where it connects to the original header pipes .Does any body know if they come with a graphite gasket when new? if not any ideas?
gp pro ive got a gp style one on mine, didnt come with a gasket, run it for a few miles and it will coke up a bit , i used some of that aluminium tape round my joint it was fine, hope this helps
Cheers all sorted i just re-seated the clamp and nipped it up ,What a sound!!!! next doors going to love me on sunday morning!!
I've got a LV Gp Pro Evo 2 no gasket but i did use a touch of Firegum just insure a good seal! Once hot it expands & hardens so no leaks (no knob gags allowed this is a serious matter) but tighten the clamp up well before starting her up to heat it all up
I always remove the baffles from the word go on my exhausts. When i started the bike for the first time with baffle out, i thought - id better put it back in! It sounds loud but not offensive with the baffle in.
Had its first run With the baffle in it sounds great especially when you blip the throttle as you change down!Next run baffle out!
If your after a gp pro check out this eBay number it's a great price and a few guys on here bought from him with great confidence 140594031602
