Now i know from reading the other posts - its very hard for you all to voice an opnion on any matter !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want/need to change my chain and sprocket. I have an all Black 08, with red wheel tape and i hope soon red brake lines. So i am thinking about either adding a red sprocket with black chain or a red chain with a black sprocket Any thoughts ? and also where and what to buy ????
Don't really have an opinion mate on this one Try the usual....................D.I.D, AFAM, Renthal etc. Can't recal ever seeing red ones........................good luck anyway.
I too have an all black 08 and have gone with gold renthal chain and sprocket that i think sets the bike off, fits in with the mag engine casings, the wheels have red rim tape and the ASV levers have red adjusters the seat is retrimmed with red stitching along with the red background on the tank badges, I think if you go red and black on the chain and sprocket it may blend in a bit much instead of giving a focal point, but thats just my opinion. Gold X-Ring D.I.D. for me. Don't make the same mistake I did and go for Renthal lightweight racing sprockets!
Dunno how you managed that mate. My hard anodized gold renthal has 5000 hard miles on it and still like New?
