My car key is a fob with a flip out key type all in 1 .

It started playing up a few weeks back , changed the battery , no change , fiddled about with it and packed out the buttons which gave me a couple more weeks .

in the end it packed up totally last week and the spar key appears to have had the same fault with the previous owner as it is destroyed from being opened so many times and also does not adam or disarm the alarm or activate the central locking .

C2's are bloody stupid as you can manually lock the doors via a little hole by the latch inside that you poke in and turn ( only an exterior key hole on the drivers door not passenger ) so i could not lock the boot at all

After the window being smashed and my glove box raided i had no chic but to get a new key made and programmed to the ECU

    Guess how much ??

    50 ? 60 quid ?

    wait for it

213 bloody pounds !!!!! For a key ?? Robbing Bar stewards

Im tamping but what choice did i have ? Even the mobile van auto lock smiths wanted 200 so i just took it to citroen ..

    Lesson learnt

Lok after my key no matter what !

    Rant over :)

look after your bike keys too. If you dont have 2 keys get a replacement programmed now! If you loose both your looking at a new ECU and lockset.

Its French, were English. Ok your Welsh but stay with me mate. It’s a local French Euro to the Great British Pound conversion rate based on the fact that we don’t like them and they don’t like us. Its just a jealousy thing mate.
We never give in to oppression
Our women (I exclude the Fens of course) don’t have hairy forearms
We don’t have to put up with that pipsqueak puppet Sarkozy (how he managed to pull Carla Bruni I will never know)

The creative juices are not flowing just now, must need food and drink, but I am sure there are many more reasons that they want to rip you off. Feel for you Dan

Yeah loosing them you have to pay for an auto locksmith to open the car and he may have had new locks in the doors .

Mine was just duplicating the key I already had
