She's defo a keeper then mate. You won't find many in that condition with so few miles. Well done for keeping it in such good condition.
The forks look brilliant viper-biker, your bike really looks stunning mate, you must be very pleased.
QUOTE=jamieHRC;59068]Fitted the leo vince exhaust cover Hi Jamie or anyone else in the know. Removed the end can (same as Jamie's) and knocked out the baffle, refitted the can and started on the Leo Vince cover, front mounting on ok, top front bracket on ok, rear bracket that fits on the exhaust....mmmm have I got the wrong bracket as it looks all wrong or has it got bent during postage, scratch chin have another look, nope. Scratch chin and arse, sit back have a ciggy and think what is it I am doing wrong and decide bracket has got bent in post so I work out what angle I need and slowly bend it bit by bit till it looks ok when offered up. All looks good to go but the round section that fits round the exhaust is too small to get the bolt back in. Fcuk it ! must be the wrong bracket all along. Guys is it me being a total numpty or does this look all wrong to you. The kits is reference 8034 and the bracket in question is part No 300051533. I gave up on the cover. Re fitted battery, turned engine over with kill switch off to get some oil round the motor. Kill switch turned on and woosh she started first time. Sounds very nice with the baffle out and went for a fifty mile blast. Felt very good to be back in the saddle and I had forgot how bloody fast these things are – grin – grin but leaving the front cover brackets on without the cover was on my mind and pissing me off which spoiled it a tad . If no one can give me any help on this issue the bloody cover is going back on Monday. My mate who heard the bike running up the road has asked me if I have changed the exhaust as it sounds better and more sorted. Must have been worth the effort !! Any help would be appreciated. [
Hi FOC The round bracket that fits around the exhaust pipe like a jubilee clip, should be positioned in the middle of the u shaped bend closest to the rear tyre. You'll need to loosen it off almost completely off then slide it round onto the bend.
Hey Bats. Do me a favour and warn us the next time you're going to post pictures of your wheels mate would you. Give me a chance to put my shades on.
Was yesterday, but made a rad guard and washed the blade after another Friday night ride out. Not bad for £17 quid materials
