Cheese and choc bolts and flex is a reason i would never buy Gilles again for the price there are rubbish IMO! Lot of other firms out there for same money or less are deffo better build but gilles seem to have the pub name NOW DONT JUMP ON ME GILLES ARE GOOD BUT NOT WORTH THE COIN!!!
Glad you got them Daveyboy..............you lucky ****. Seeing the pics will hurt mate but I can take it....I have tissues ready. I have a posible source for some but need to check it out, unfortunately funds are low, but if I can find them I will probably get them as they are so nice, enjoy.
Ex, dont give in mate. The website I used are showing the 06 / 07 Rizomas. Send them a mail and ask for John, worth the cost of a call. Or look at motovationusa.com. They've been fantastic with me and very reasonable on shipping and duty costs. I can't praise them enough... 6 days and they were here! Pics to follow
@Daveyboy the good news is that I mailed John as you suggested and they have a set for the 2006 in stock, the bad news is that I am now lots of dollars less in my bank account . Thanks very much Daveyboy, my rizoma rearsets will hopefully be making their way to the UK soon. I just hope I never need any spares. They are fantastic looking sets and the build is excellent. They will go very nicely with my rizoma limit mirrors, bar ends and rear indicators. Maybe the lovely fuel cap next !!!
Thats fantastic mate, it should take about 6 days, did you tell him I's put you onto them? Don't worry about the spares..........................gulp! If it happens, it happens!! Ive got some bar ends to stick on too, also got matching levers , this is a great forum but so far it has cost me about £700
@Daveyboy, yes I did tell them, they should be despatatched today or tomorrow but I am having them sent direct to the garage I use, so won't see them for a while. Do they use the existing brake switch or do you have to fit an inline one ? Yep the forum is great but everyone keeps pointing out all the nice things and I spend too much money. I fitted my Rizoma limit mirrors at the weekend. They do not give as much vision as the OE ones but they look the dogs IMO. Also have the bar ends and the rear indicators. Thanks again for the nod, apparently they were the last ones they had.

Dave, I got sorted mate just need to get them fitted! PJ's were very helpful but said they hadnt sold any since 2008 so didnt re-stock. They were top drawer and I would defo use them in the future. Motovationusa were excellent and I think they have sorted Ex out as well so I will be recomending them on the forum, nothing dad to say, they even invoiced me a different amount, much much less so that the duty would be lower. Can't prais them enough!!
Apparently mine arrived yesterday, but it may be a while until I can get them fitted. Work has got busy and I need to earn some money as I seem to have spent a lot of money on something recently.............not sure what but it has two wheels. Unfortunately scrooge found my invoice for the rizoma mirrors............it was a most unpleasant discussion. Hence I had the rearsets sent direct to the garage yes I am a wimp, but my 'tackle' is still attached.
+1 FPMSL doesn't just happen to me then. Glad you got them, I found out Sat that I have a Quick Action throttle fitted when I bought the bike........never knew All this Rizoma stuff is costing me a fortune!
Yep Daveyboy motivationusa were excellent. I really want the petrol cap but the little bit of red in the centre puts me off a little, but only a little, I think I might have to get one. Again it will have to be sent elsewhere haha.
Bit of a result about the QA throttle mate, had to buy mine but I do like it, well wothwhile. Have you got the rearsets fitted yet ?
