Really sorry to hear your bad news, just remember your bike is just that, a bike and is only metal and plastic, it can be fixed or replaced. The important thing here is that you are not badly hurt and time will heal the mental and physical scars. Good luck and get well soon.

dont rush your self mate last thing you want to do is try to move the bike if your not 100% as we know how easy it is for another little accident to happen, you will have to post a list of all the bits you are needing so we can all keep an eye out for you

Mate thats crap, sorry to hear it, is it possibly worth putting up a list of bits people may have some oem stuff knocking about they would donate for a small fee or nowt plus we can watch the pit for you. Glad your ok to tell the tale though !!

Not good pal. Any more clues yet as to why it let go and your mate's bike didn't? I know there are so many variables but I'm really interested. Hope you mend quickly and agree - feet deffo better than head! And... how good are the 1000RR family? The support is magnificent
