Unless you told somebody i doubt they would even notice it but because i knew it was missing it always stood out to me. oh and think of the weight savings that you will make, it really will transform the bike

It is missing on the pics you uploaded in august so its been gone for some time

I faced a similar dilemma a couple of weeks back Ken, After returning my P&J to her home after attending my mates ladt ride, I too noticed the RHS blob was missing. A quick search on eBay confirmed my initial fears, yeah right At that price I'll do without them.
If I was ever to get my bike that far over in the first place the next step would be my arse on the floor.
And I also have it on good authority the removal of said hero blobs with the lower weight of the bike increases the top speed by 0.0000000000000000000000001 mph;)

In that case Gaz I'm just gutted I haven't done it before. If Hopper had dumped a blob he'd be champion now.

Oh, hang on what's a couple of knuckles worth, speed wise?

I'm not sure on the knuckles Ken, I guess it would depend on which county the person was from and how many knuckles they have to lose :D

Well, if you lean over so far that you grind your fingers away, hero blobs become even less relevant, I suppose.

Both counts I shall never truly know Ken, I Always like to keep a little on the edges of the tires in reserve ;) I think the term the young ones use are chicken strips? :)

I thought the chicken strip was the brown line down the gusset of my mighty whitey's.

I believe Ken, and I'm sure someone more experienced could shed some light on this? The brown stripes in your grundies are from over exerting yourself and going beyond the chicken strip of the tyre. The sphincter is used in this situation to give you a mark/score for your efforts. The thicker and longer the Mark in your pants determines the quality and extremity of your lean angle achieved.

Slightly going off route here But do you dudes have a pub chain called YATES WINE LODGE .i know the boys north of Stoke would know this but if you were heading to the Wine Lodge you would say 'We are going to the Blob shop ' for a Blob or an 'all in'.

Yet again I bow to the level of expertise we have available on this site.

You've managed to explain the sudden appearance of, what I can only explain as, some kind of Gel padding that appeared in my leathers, obviously in preparation of an off, in order to save the gusset area from excessive shock when hitting the ground.

Those guys at Dainese think of everything.

Although they could do something about the odour the Gel gives off, but that was probably its propellant, as I could hear that escaping throughout the entire manoeuvre.

I will say true Givover. I remember Yates in Talbot square used to sell blobs.

Perhaps we should send an email to proctor and gamble and see if they can discuss options with , Dainese and fit a can of air freshener in the seat of the pants that will perhaps go off say 1000th of a second before said gel padding is deployed. ;)
