hi all im due to put new discs/pads on my rr5 soon but not to sure what to get,i only really get to use it to get to work and back and dont want anything to bling as im not sure how long i will keep it any ideas? cheers raphael
I went through this dilema and the general advice was stick with the standard discs. The standard pads are also very good but i went for sbs pads as they offer better bite
that is true here you go HONDA CBR1000RR 04-05 ARMSTRONG FRONT WAVY DISCS SET | eBay second hand but only just http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CBR600RR-...cycle_Parts&hash=item3a7205a239#ht_1300wt_825
I ordered a set of the WRP disc's that were going cheap on ebay a while back, i've yet to fit them to the bike tho
I can vouch for Armstrong . Had a set on my 600RR as they worked out cheaper than OE . Very good quality and look the nuts
I'm waiting on a set of extra light UP7's to be delivered from Dymag. When I take my current discs of my wheels, I'll weigh the wrp discs compared to the standard ones. If the wrp ones are heavier I won't be using them, so you could have them for what they cost me!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You,ll be sorry if you,re a heavey braker....................I went through 2 sets on my 929...........never again !!.I needed some discs for the RR6 when I bought her, ended up buying a set of new "Goldfern" SP1 discs, other than they,re a tad noisey(rattle in the bobbins)they work well and have been really HOT at times.
