    Hi Nobby,

I'm sure it's your speed sensor at fault, does it happen all the time? did the bike get wet? as water can sometimes get into the sensor. new ones aren't that expensive, hope you get her fixed soon mate :D

BlueKontakt had a speed sensor water ingress issue not long ago. Don't know if it's similar, might be worth a search.

Nah its not the speedo sensor it is the exhaust valve is seized so need the a new end can. Cost me £60 to find this out down Thunderoad.
Bit pissed off tbh.But even though it was sold with no warranty the garage that sold it said they will get me an aftermarket can which doesnt have this valve but if the motor that turns this valve is shot the light will remain on. If this is the case surely you can bypass this motor ??
So when they send me the end can is there anyone local to me who knows how to change the exhaust cos the garage will want £150 just to change it over..

Changing the exhaust is easy mate, Just take your time.

If the light ever comes on again just stop keep the engine running and put in neutral and put the sidestand down. Then count the long and short flashes.

There is a guy in the US that makes resistors that are plug & play which tricks the ecu into thinking the motor is working.

I think Nutty has one on her's?

If you look in your manual, it has a table telling you what the flashes mean (what is at fault).

I think its heald itself !!!! did the whole put the side stand down and count the flashes but it was doing it for ages repating code 44 (looked it up not in the manual) so turned the engine off. Gave it a mo started then rode off, light and FI came back on. Stopped about 5 mile down the road to talk to my nephew turned engine off. Started it back up rode off no light and no FI !!!!!!

THERE IS A GOD AND HE RIDES A BLADE PRAISE BE !!!
