Guy's, where the ballasts are fitted on mine:

One is in a space within the right hand fairing, just about fits. The other is under the front lights, it does make the plastic trim out of shape, but have to be looking to notice. The kit I've got have extermley small ballasts and no inline "box" on the wiring.

tbh mate, don't think their any cheaper just a different set up- Mine without the in line box were only £37. I had two sets, one for each of the bikes so 4 ballasts. Two ballast have failed, fell out with the dude I bought them from (ebay) so the replacement set i've bought are the same set up as yours. I've knicked the worker from the 929, the new set will go on that as theres plently of space in the sides of the fairings.

    How long did you get??

I took string and run it through the cable loops at the front of the tank, over the tank, down to the loom and up the left hand side of the bike and i reckoned i would need ~2.5m to do it tidily!

Trying to find a HV extension that size is bloody hard ... I think I'll do the flapper mod and try and stick the ballasts in there, see how that goes!

Worst come to the worst I'll extend the LV side myself, and see if I hide the ballasts somewhere other than under the rear seat!

Right this seller on eBay will do both LV and Hv Leads for you in the length of your choice

This item number 270915127911 for the HV and then just ping him a email and he will do you the other lead. I've just ordered both.
