Cheers will check them out , are plan was to go straight down to the Black Forest , were going from Hull to Zeebugge , from what i can find out its about 350 miles
right, as per my previous thread which i cant be bothered to find, i have 4 days free in May to myself which i intend on spending every daylight hour in the saddle. Fri May 4 to Monday 7. Finally decided its out of two options:. A Day 1 - Kent to Lands end (done this loads of times) via 272 to winchester, then on to mine head and a39 coastal road to lands end, then back up to plymouth to catch the 11pm overnight ferry to roscoff in france. £143 for ferry including 2 berth cabin with ensuite - which i think is pretty decent. its 125 each if there is two of you. Day 2 - 4 - not entirely sure but will hit a bit of the west coast (maybe la rochelle) then back onto the northern coast and follow it along the scenic routes taking in a few of the war sites and national park routes all the way to callais to get an eve tunnel on monday and quick dash home ready for work on tuesday. B Head to the ring and mooch around there and do a few laps each day if its open lovely job! looks like its set to be a one man mission at present as all my regular lot can’t do the dates – but either way should be interesting.
You lucky bastard!! Love to do that.... Might have to substitute my annual big your next year.... Or could just ride there and back.... Hmmm there's a thought!
I done 3 days on track at Cartegena and it was bloody good, 10 of us are doing the Scotland trip this june 22-26th bsb knockhill on the 24th. Last 4 years done a euro trip but a few fancied scotland in 2012, i will pack my waterproofs lol but cant be as wet as last year france to Italy never seen rain like it.
Hi 10 of us going to the ring on the 17th September, Hull to Rotterdam then 2 days at the b&b on the ring then back to Assen for the BSB round! Booked and looking forward to it! 2 other blades in the group also.
Its not very far, but about 8 of us are going up to Cadwell on the 6-7th May to watch this new Practical Sprotsbike Production Series. The mods they are allowed to do are few, rear shock, fork revalve, braided hoses, etc. The bikes actually look like (and are) road bikes from '72 to '84, so there should be big zeds, GS1000's, the odd early GPZ900(?), GPZ1100's, Katanas, RD250's, GT250's, X7's, LC's and stuff. If it didnt have a faring as standard, they aren't allowed to fit one. Anyone else goin?
Nah, never happens! Always glorious sunshine. Let's all just keep chanting that mantra "Always glorious sunshine, always glorious sunshine".
Only 30 more sleeps till we go to Spain, i'm excited and panicing at the same time, will the Blade run on all 4 over 8.5K? Will i have to buy another bike? Will i sell the 600 in time to pay for it? Will we all make it down there? Is Terry from London going to pay his deposit and turn up? Will we all come back in one peice? Is Elvis dead? Do bears shit in the woods? Did men go to the moon?
Not polar bears! Shit, just realised I'm going in just over 4 weeks - France, Italy, Austria, Germany and France again. Better book the last four hotels lol
