    As tittle!
Was out with my mate on his GSXR750K7 saturday and we both filled up when we left! He then has to fill up again about 90miles! I got home and total round trip was 132miles and the fuel light came on as i pulled into my driveway.

    Thanks
    Gary

Depends how I ride to be honest. The last 2 times I've been out was with new riders so the going was slow, and managed 120 miles before the light came on. On a blast with the usual mates I usually get around the 90-100 mile mark, again depending on riding and which road we're on.

Lol. As you probably know mate, roads up here tend to egg u on a bit as they are mainly empty and to be honest I only do it where and when I know it's safe, and with mates I trust.

Was out on mine last night and hit 117 miles before the light came on

which i don't think is to bad compared to 2 of the guys that i sometimes ride with, 1 has a 1098s and only manages 65 mile before Reserve (he has also just brought a 22L tank for it ££££)

and the other has a RSV4 and struggles to get 80 mile which is doing his head in so is just about to chop it in for a S1000rr

Has anyone noticed a change in fuel consumption after fitting an exhaust ?

I was getting around 120 miles full to reserve with fairly spirited riding but haven't taken much notice since fiiting the new can.

If you think about it...30mpg from a 1000cc engine driving 200kg is shocking fuel figures..

Luckily most get 50 - 55mpg, never got less than 35 even on track.

Many get 150+ to a tank

After being limited to how far away from a garage I needed to be every time I used any of my Ducati's ( 90 miles maximum before fuel light then about 10/15 miles before running out ) going out on the Blade is a revelation !!

I generally do a loop of about 130 miles and each time I have got home without the fuel light showing.

On Sunday had a more 'spirited' ride and the light came on at 138 miles, got home and it was showing o.2l on the display whatever than means, that was 154 miles in total.

Mine uses about 10% more fuel since fitting Yoshi R77 and PC5, ie gone from about 20 Ks /litre to about 17 or 18 with fairly easy riding.

Incidently a PC5 makes the onboard fuel usage feature of the ECU inaccurate

You know, it would be really bloody handy if when replying to a thread like this if peeps stated what bloody bike and setup they had. I have a 2011 Rep with an aftermarket zorst (vance and hines) and all the above actually means diddly squat when trying to compare like for like. With some exceptions of those that did or have it in their sig. I presume that all the above are at least Hondas, on another similar thread on this forum most were not.

    Rant over, thanks for listening.

Ok I have full Yoshi R77 with filter and PCV and I get on average around 120miles before reserve light comes on but it all really depends on how I ride and who I am riding with. When we did a little forum bike ride to the coast and back I reached 170miles before the light came on and another time with a group of fast friends I got 90miles before fuel light came on.

I thought I cared about fuel consumption but I really don't and just ride for fun ;)
