Akrapovic baffle removal issues

Taken the can off of the bike to remove the baffle on my akrapovic can but the hole in the carbon fibre does not match up where the nut is to release the baffle and I can't get to it.

Any ideas people?

 

Done now had to file a touch of the carbon away but all sorted

 

had exact same problem on mine but just forced the socket and extension bar over until socket slipped over the nut. should of made the bloody hole a bit bigger shouldnt they! lol

 

I know you think with the money they charge the could line a hole up properly!!!

Not sure if i prefer baffle in or out now. It's bloody loud !

Can't get mine out and dealer won't remove it for me as will make bike illegal zzzz

 

take it too a independant garage, they dont care what they do, well mine doesnt anyway

 

Why does it make it illegal? My dealer offered to take it out when I picked the bike up.

 

I guess it was just a jobsworth over the phone may be different once I'm in there if I give some speech that I'm not happy.. Faulty part and all that

 

Just put mine in and besides not pissing everbody off the bike runs better as well.

Yep, I've had lots more people looking over there shoulder now when I get near them. I've been toying with the idea of putting it back in as it'll attract pc plod when I'm giving it the gun, and we wouldn't want that now would we!
