Anyone have this? its a hrc 2011 with 2500 miles i have had it 4 weeks, when i pull the clutch lever in sometimes it makes a slight noise like the cable gets caught?? have checked the bits i can see, my mates 2011 blade when pulling the lever in feels real smooth same sort of miles as mine. I have the 10/20mm play at the lever as mentioned in the handbook, the thing i feel is more through the lever on to my hand this only happens say 1 in 10 times.

When you say it happens 1 in 10 times is that when you are riding it, if so it is probably the slipper clutch engaging, its normal when slowing down and pulling up to a junction with the clutch pulled in.

Yup same as mine have it on my 11 and also previous 09 . The feeling is like there is a knot in the cable and it then gets forced through a hole with slight resistance.

Yep both of mine have done this so I think it is normal, but it still irritates me a little bit. I expect better from Honda.

My GSXR 750 had a slipper clutch and never had this feeling.

mine did it but now I only use two fingers on the clutch and its stopped, I think because I am not pulling the clutch lever in as far as I used to

I also use 1 finger on my brake, I ride with it over the brake all the time and it has saved me many a time with an instant reaction and to be honest with the power of the front brakes on a blade and the regular speeds I ride you dont notice any loss is power... plus my finger is stronger now with all the practice... I strongly recommend it to all.

Two fingers on the clutch gives constant control of the handlebars too, always a good thing and I recommend that too, takes a while to get used to and you need to adjust your lever very acurately, at least I did with my stock levers.

The slipper works all of the time, anytime load is on the rear of the clutch so yes it could be felt.. However it could be worth looking it over is it's that bad.

Discussed at length before. It's the slipper clutch.

Mines exactly the same! Feels like there's a slight snag or a click as it unsnags. Then sometimes smooth as... '09 model
