Sorry to hear that life's running pants for you at the moment, Blaggers. I'm sure I don't need to tell you this but I will anyway. Life has a habit of doing this to us all. Things will bimble along like butter for years on end and then sh*t like this happens. And in that inevitable way it always all seems to come at once. If there's one thing that I've learnt in life though it's that good times are ALWAYS around the corner. It might be a big, long corner but it always turns around in the end. Keep your chin up, fella. Hopefully we can help to keep a smile on your face.
Everything down the LHS snapped off. The whole fairing, tank cover and seat unit junked. My main concern is wether or not the frame/engine might be damaged due to the crash bung pointing to the front of the bike. I limped off with 4 broke toes to gear foot, broke ankle on the rear brake foot, bust coccyx, 2 fractured vertabra and some internal bruising. Had to refuse getting the feet potted up tho, have to work to pay the bills. Lol.
Gutted for you mate, what's the saying that it doesn't rain it pours!! 2009 was my year to forget, lost a very good friend to cancer, seperated from my wife, grandfather passed away, house got flooded and had to give my best mate (dog) away. Three years down the line, wifes back and I've got two mortages to pay! (The cottage we bought) It will get better bud, always does. One things for sure, there's loads of chicks out there that love leathers and gaging for some luvin! Keep your chin up.
Just read this and want to add my best wishes to you for a quick turn around in your fortunes Blaggers, and I very much hope your son starts to see an improvement soon also. That has to be the bit that hurts the most, we all wish we could do something to help, and if it is possible it would be done I'm sure. I won't go into detail, but two years ago I got the double whammy, loss of a loved one, and personal health issues, and I felt lower than I've ever felt in my long life. I can tell you mate, as so many others have said on this thread, things do pick up, so hang on in there. Easy for me to be philosophical about it now, but someone gave me a quote during that bad period, I've kinda held onto it. She actually moved out last week. Been going to the spare bedroom so we dont have to sit together, lol. Anyway, she moved into the flat above my local pub!! Then, to put the tin hat on everything, in just a week of buggering off she's been fcuking a so called mate of mine. Needless to say we are no longer mates. I 'explained' my dissapointment to him. Obviously I am now barred. Lol. Felt tons better tho.....
What a bitch mate , and bollucks to the so called mate . Easier said than done but don't give either of them a second thought . Get the house how you want it now , bin all her shit lol . What goes around comes around mate . My sons mother done me over 3 years ago , We was only renting so i moved out as a tempory thing to give each other a bit of space . The same night i moved out she had some cooking runt from the village up there . Left everything in the house there for my sons sake , Lost thousands mate . Anyway 3 years later . Iv won full custody of my son which also meant she lost all the benefits she was getting for him . I had a back payment of child allowance and working tx credits which totalled a little over 4 grand and she has just lost the house and is now living with i think the 9th or 10th boyfriend that treats her like shit . I spend all my money on my son and my bike now with out having to ask permission , hide the true cost etc . no guilt trips for being out on the bike instead of with her . Took a while but I'm very happy now. You will get there son !
Brilliant that Dan. Really pleased it worked out for ya mate. What the stupid bitch hasn't realised is the house we lived in, I live in, is rented off her mother. Owned outright. The house her mother lives in was signed over to the bitch and her brother, so as to stop the government from looting funds while the father in law was in a care home. Now, i'm not certain, but, I think I might be entitled to half tha bitch's assets. ie 25% of the house the mother in law lives in. That will sort me a nice deposit and leave the bitch with a @£20,000 debt.

Sounds good Blaggers. My ex had an affair with her best friends husband, who was also friends with me for 7 years. When I found out I insisted on a DNA test for our 2 year old daughter.....................was totally devastated when I found out she was not mine. I got taken to the cleaners and lost everything (for the third time)................but getting rid of her was the best thing for me. Will never let a woman stitch me up again. live with one now but I make sure I do not get taken for a ride.Heading for the rocks again but at least this time I have a firm hand on my stuff and my finances. In all honesty I love living on my own, getting a s**g when you want one is not difficult and I can cook and clean as well as most women. Peace of mind and sanity is more important to me than a constant nagging in my ear.
Watch the sharing of wealth stuff mate, get some quality legal advice. She could end up plundering your pension funds, saving , shares and loads of other things you have accumulated whilst together ( heavens forbid - even your Blade).
I feel for you there mate , I cant imagine going through that with the DNA test . I have the same mind set as you know , and the safest IMO
