At least it's not just me they do look really cheap shit don't they, and they were not all that much cheap than getting them from the likes of demon tweeks really!
You are absolutely right and thanks Andrew for the thread ! They look like imported stuff form China and that makes me even more angry. Also they got a nice email from me already.
I know in reality the samco ones are over priced when you look into it and see how much you can get decent ones for, but it's just handy getting all the right sizes in one go.
For me it doesn't make sense to buy expensive samco hoses and install cheap quality clamps. I think the should be as good as the samco stuff itself, otherwise we could use the original clamps as well.

I received the answer from the company to my email tonight, but see yourself: hello Klaus i am sorry to see you are not happy, we have sold these clips for a few years now, they come prebagged from our Samco supplier and have never had an issue with the quality. I have no need for you to be upset and therefore if you just post back 1st class to me and also let me know the cost with proof of postage i will refund in full. You are the 1st customer to complain about these for which im surprised, and since we have sold over 500 sets in 2 years and never had an issue i know they will do what they are advertised for. Please note we can supply Samco hose clips , you say you were expecting a set of Samco hose clips however if you check out advert nowhere do we say that these are Samco hose clips, we also point out that these clips are also stainelss steel apart from the screw, Samco clips are fully staineless, and therefore do NOT say you will receive Samco clips, these are available but Samoc fully stainess clips would be more expensive As i have said I dont wish you to be unhappy at all so if you can post back to me and sent a copy of proff of postage i will refund in full best regards david
That's what I got this morning: hello, In following up from your email last night I forwarded email to supplier, they have replied These are same clips always supplied to you, The type which are not suitable for silicone hose are shown attached, the ones we supplied have rolled up edges and the mechanism does not show through and cut into the hose, we have sold 1000’s without issue, Happy any way to help and obviously do whatever I can to help , I stock all the Samco full stainless Clips also as shown attached. We sell more of the cheaper type by far, clip type has never caused us a problem. These are also the same clips Bailey supply in dump valve fitting kits, I went to same supplier. Kale is the 1 we supply you and shown attached. Nice one ! Help any way, for this customer I am happy to swap you for Samco more expensive clamps out of goodwill, if they return we will swap for Samco and send to them. please feel free to let me know If you can let me know i would be grateful regards david
I posted up my email here earlier or at least I thought I did, anyway i've just had the same message as above. It just a bit of a shame what we recieved first, but to be fair the seller has been very good with his responce and offer to replace!
As pissed as I was on recieving them, I feel everyone should be given the chance to make right. The seller has been nothing but curtious and as helpfull as he could be, so i've taken him up on his offer of replacement and i'll post mine back to him first thing on Tuesday morning. I'm just hoping the goods I recieve are to my satisfaction
Sign off the times; everyone is out to make a quick buck if they can get away with it. Good to see they are willing to make good though. IME demon tweeks are not cheap but you get what you ordered in double quick time every time. "You gets what you pays for" in their case.
The seller was very kind and exchanged them because I complained about the clamps which I got on the first place. I paid exactly 21.73 GBP ! I am a happy customer again !
Mine came today aswell, as you say they are 100 times better quality than the last ones we got. I've got to get my others posted back, i've been too late back from work the last 2 nights
