Exactly Ken, No bling just solid quality that will out last me, and one of my kids who ever gets it after I’m gone. I see them as investments that can be passed on or sold if shit happens and you need to raise cash quickly.
Oh and don’t go thinking we are rich, we aren’t really. We just have a nice few things.

Ray, The is a very good watch shop on the Strand that also specialises in s/hand watches that I often dribble down the window at when passing. I can’t remember the name just now but I will have a look next time. It might be worth giving them a shout and see if they can call you if they come across a ladies GMT.

It's all about class David. Class and style. I bought Jeanette a Swatch home from Geneva.

A Swiss watch, from Geneva. That's style.

Okay. I didn't actually say that I had class too.

My brother uses a Tag as his dive watch and it costs him more each year to service it than I've ever spent on a watch.

And it is a substantial boot Dave...

Here's mine. Suunto X-Lander Military. Not as pricey as some of the others on here but it's done the job for me for 2 years... :D

I also have a Tag, but it’s a Searacer Professional chronograph that I have had for about 15 years. It came with both a steel and a leather with black rubber on the outside strap. I have only ever used the leather/rubber one and had to have it replaced a couple of years ago, the strap cost £120, It has allsorts of functions like countdown timers used when tacking to the start line and to be quite honest I cant work out what half the functions do. Nice heavy watch though. When it needs a battery I don’t send it back to Tag but just get a jeweller to replace it but they cant warrant its 200 metre waterproof claim. My view is its on my wrist and I am 200 metres under the water the last thing on my mind will be oh dear my watch has let water in.

Yeah Kevin has to have his pressure tested for insurance or some such. Since he went down the rebreather route he's been using a dive computer more but he still decompresses staring at his Tag.

Yep that’s right Ken, if Tag replace the battery or service it they replace all the seals and give a new certificate to say it been pressure tested etc. Expensive if they do anything in my experience.

Love my watches... Blame my dad for it, he has all sorts.

    Don't do batteries though.

The breitling is Similar to mine, but mines an older model with black face

Mines a £ 10 Casio from Argos, the amount of features it has is immense, it has a plastic strap that goes around your wrist & does up so it doesn`t fall off, & get this, you can undo it again & it comes off your wrist, as if you didn`t have a watch on your wrist !
Is this in the same league as the others mentioned above cos i think it should be, it`s ace:D
